These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Kronos FortKnox custodial digital asset wallet service ("Service") operated by KronosFleet ("we", "us", "our") and accessible at www.kronosfleet.net. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must be a resident of a jurisdiction where the use of digital asset services is not prohibited.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
• By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Description of Service

Kronos FortKnox provides a custodial digital asset wallet that enables users to:

• Store Bitcoin (BTC) and other supported digital assets in a managed wallet.
• Purchase digital assets using fiat currency (GBP, EUR, USD) via integrated third-party on-ramp services.
• Transfer digital assets to external wallet addresses.
• View transaction history and wallet balances.
• Access wallet operations via a developer API.

We act as custodian of digital assets held in FortKnox wallets. This means we manage the private keys on your behalf. You are the beneficial owner of assets in your account.

3. Account Registration and Security

• You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your account details up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including API keys.
• You must enable two-factor authentication (2FA) where available.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account at security@kronosfleet.net.
• We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised access caused by your failure to secure your credentials.

4. Fiat On-Ramp Services

Fiat-to-crypto purchases are processed by regulated third-party payment partners (such as MoonPay). When purchasing digital assets:

• You will be subject to the third party's own terms of service, privacy policy, and KYC/AML verification requirements.
• We do not process fiat payments directly. All card transactions are handled by the payment partner.
• Fees for fiat purchases are set by the payment partner and displayed before you confirm a transaction.
• We are not responsible for delays, failures, or disputes arising from the third-party payment provider.

5. Digital Asset Transactions

• Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. We cannot reverse, cancel, or refund a completed on-chain transaction.
• Network Fees: Sending digital assets incurs blockchain network fees. These are determined by network conditions and are not set by us.
• Accuracy: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of recipient wallet addresses. We are not liable for assets sent to an incorrect address.
• Processing Times: Transaction confirmation times depend on the blockchain network and are outside our control.

6. Custody and Security of Assets

• Digital assets in your FortKnox wallet are held in custody by us on your behalf.
• We employ industry-standard security practices including encryption, cold storage reserves, and access controls.
• While we take all reasonable precautions, we do not guarantee against loss due to hacking, software vulnerabilities, or unforeseen circumstances.
• We do not commingle your assets with our operating funds.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Service for:

• Any illegal purpose, including money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.
• Fraud, deception, or misrepresentation.
• Purchasing or transferring assets on behalf of third parties without disclosure.
• Attempting to circumvent security measures, access controls, or rate limits.
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or its infrastructure.
• Automated access beyond the scope of the provided API and its documented rate limits.

8. Fees

• Wallet storage: No fee. Storing assets in your FortKnox wallet is free.
• Sending transactions: Blockchain network fees apply, displayed before confirmation.
• Fiat purchases: Fees are charged by the on-ramp payment partner, displayed before purchase.
• We reserve the right to introduce service fees with 30 days' prior notice.

9. Risk Disclosure

Digital assets are high-risk investments. By using the Service, you acknowledge:

• The value of digital assets can fluctuate significantly. You may lose some or all of your investment.
• Digital assets are not legal tender and are not backed by any government or central bank.
• Regulatory changes may affect the availability or legality of digital asset services in your jurisdiction.
• Past performance is not indicative of future results.
• We do not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for losses arising from blockchain network failures, third-party service outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in prohibited activities, or if required by law.
• Upon termination, you will have a reasonable period (no less than 30 days) to withdraw your digital assets, unless prohibited by law.
• You may close your account at any time by withdrawing all assets and contacting us at admin@kronosfleet.net.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with Kronos FortKnox and KronosFleet are our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
• Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and KronosFleet regarding the use of Kronos FortKnox.
